Don Hardaway
Western and wildlife bronze sculpture

After retiring as Chief U.S. Probation Officer for the Northern District of Texas, Hardaway began devoting his time, energy and talent to his passion for western and wildlife art. He maintains his studio at his home in Kalama Valley on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, and is a member of the National Sculpture Society, the Windward Artists Guild and the Association of Hawaii Artists. Hardaway has  BA and MA degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington and has studied sculpture at the Scottsdale Artists School in Arizona, the University of Hawaii, and at Hoka Hey Fine Arts Foundry in Texas. His work can be seen in Honolulu and at Folger's Gallery in Midland, Texas.

Notice:  Two of Don's sculptures, "Capt. Lewis" and "Sacred Offering" have been juried into the Journey's End National Art Exhibition at the Heritage Museum in Astoria, Oregon.  This exhibit of fine art honors the bicentennial Anniverasry of the Lewis and Clark expedition and will be displayed from Nov. 11 - 17, 2005.
